One of the largest areas of growth in lighting is step and hall lighting. Rather than include lights inside a two story hallway where lamp replacement is very difficult, long-lasting, non-glare step lights have become the option of choice. In halls, the surface mounted fixtures have been replaced with hall lights that give enough light to navigate the corridors. LED is the perfect solution in both these environments.
In most cases, step and hall lights have been retrofit with LED in place of the incandescent light source. Having never made an incandescent product, we did not approach the task in the same way. We design a luminaire to provide quality light in an even presentation. The Kichler Design Pro LED Step and Hall lights provide superior performance coupled with extreme ease in installation.
Push-in wire connectors are installed, screws are captive, the unit is designed to fit into a standard “J” box. Four plate designs are offered, Vertical louver, horizontal louver, lens and the most glare-free the Shielded version. Four finishes, Architectural Bronze, Ivory, Brushed Nickel and White. These are also available in dimmable and non-dimmable version for total lighting flexibility.
